Ruby & Charlie ( Update / Re bonded again...YIPEEEEE!!!)

Breaks my heart to see them separated like this but until Ruby has healed I just can't chance them being together and her getting hurt .



You can see Ruby, want's to be with Charlie. (Charlie is the one at the other side eating hay from the hay rack)

Still separated at the moment but next to each other, Ruby is back at the vet's tomorrow (Tuesday) for her check up and we hope to rebond them again when her swelling has gone down completely underneath her as I'm worried that Charlie will bite her there as the bite he gave her when we put them together was very near, she has never been in a pet carrier without Charlie so that will be sad

aww bless them, I'm sure they'll go back together when Ruby is better. It's funny how sometimes bunnies can be this way when the other one is ill and sometimes they really rally around the sick rabbit.

Ruby has been for her check up today at the vet's and Honor our vet said the reason Charlie is attacking her could be she smells of the diinfectant that they use for the op's it can happen. So hopefully when the smell has worn off Charlie will love her again.

The vet was very impressed with her and had said she was healing nicely

Oh im so glad this gorgeous girlie is healing well.

It makes sense about the smells too, I really hope they will be together and back in love again soon x x x

I am so glad she is better dear as you say, it probably just needs time for the vet smells to disperse and they will be friends again. Their little noses are very powerful aren't they?

Ruby is a lot better in herself but they are still separated until we know Ruby is completely healed, but they are in pens next to each other and can see each other

Update Friday 10th June

Well we have tried and tried and tried to bond them back together and finally..we have done it
Ruby and Charlie are now a couple again

Ruby and Charlie seem to be a lot more loving with each other now, cuddling up to each other all the time and washing each other maybe it's true what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder
