I really want to put a second level in Lucy's crate but the problem is A) I don’t have a saw and B) Even if I had a saw id be awful using it!! Are there any ways that don’t involve to much DIY to put in a second ledge?

Also where can you get steps? and/or what do you use instead of?

I am also rubbish at DIY, and my next bun project is to buy a really big dig crate and make a second level, I have seen other people have done this and built an A frame to support a shelf, looks way beyond my skill! I have thought of two other options, either a small table to go int there litk a little pine thing so they can still go underneath or jump up and sit on the top, ot get my step dad to do it! I will be watching out to see of anyone comes up with a better idea! Some one told me that B& Q will cut wood to your requirements.... Smile

You could perhaps buy a shelf from B & Q, that's what we did, and then we put mirror hooks on it to attatch it to the bars. We haven't got any steps as they can jump up that height themselves, but you could just use something like an upside down flower pot for her to use as a lower level to get onto the shelf.
