Litter training
Oh my god what a nightmare!
I only ever had to litter train Charlie, way back when, and he took to it straight away and managed to teach both Jack and Brian how to do it, so I have not had to deal with this in a while. I know neutering does help but until I can do that I need HELP!
My buns have their own litter tray but I've only ever spotted Hazel in it a couple of times. They just poo wherever they fancy, they pee wherever they fancy (they are on lino so I am suprised they don't choose the nice litter tray). I have tried having a step up to it as they are still quite small (they can get in quite easily, they just choose not to pee there), I have tried putting their food bowl IN the litter tray (they still pee everywhere), I am CONSTANTLY sweeping up poo and mopping up pee, it all goes in the litter tray so I'm sure they get the hint.
Any advice? I'm hoping when they move into their new accomodation they will just go outside a lot of the time. I am planning to feed them outside anyway to encourage them to run around in their massive run but hopefully they will just poop out there and be done with it
Thanks in advance,
BB

Re: Litter training
How many trays do you have? It's supposed to be at least one per rabbit to start with I think.
Re: Litter training
I have 2 large trays and the buns are approximately 8 or 9 weeks old (based on guesstimates of age when i first got them). I am not hugely bothered but I would like them to become trained eventually!
(they are binkying around in the run at the moment
