We are collecting a bunny on Friday/ More photos .

I saw her advertised on another forum and she had been left in a tiny hutch with no food or water and her coat was badly neglected and she was so matted her back legs were matted to her body and she has never been handled. My heart just melted when I saw her as I love Lionheads, especially fluffy ones and I need a girl for my sad Lionhead boy who lost his girl last November and although we have been trying to bond him with Katie and Koko he loves Koko but hates Katie and I can't split them up as they are Mother and Daughter. So hopefully Jess as she is called at the moment will eventually find love with Kenzo.
Today she has been spayed and dematted although the have had to leave some of the matts as they are to close to her skin. Her teeth are not 100% but the vet said that with the correct diet this could be sorted. I just can't wait to get her home, put her in a big hutch with soft t-bag bedding for now until she heals and loads of lovely hay.
We are collecting her on Friday from Tameside Rescue in Manchester so I will post some photo's of her when I take some.

And in todays bunny news, jess the lionhead has won the 'transform your life lottery', the prize will be a 'happy ever after' at doolittle manor with the tucker bunnies, also an intro to the hunk of her dreams. When asked to comment, jess gave the following statement: I have had it rather tough and my experiance of humans hasnt been good, though i have heard tales from the birds that doolittle manor has 2 of the best humans around. Also i must confess, i have had always had a thing for hairy men, kenzo sounds dishy!' x

I bet you are excited today! Can't wait to hear she is safely home with you and settled.

Oh I am very excited as it's a day out as well for me. I've got the pet carrier ready and her hutch is all ready for her.



Because she is newly spayed we will have her on soft t-bag bedding for now and then she will go on hay when she has healed. There is just a hay rack to go up and she has her willow hay rack as well full of nice Western Timothy.

We know where we are going as we have been there before and we did a bun run for Nicola1 on here and collected Lillath for her.

Arrived home with her and she's absolutely gorgeous, a little on the skinny side but not for long. The x-owner had about 38 rabbit's and kept 18 of them in a 4ft hutch, she didn't feed or give them water and they were kept in a dark shed and the RSPCA are prosecuting her for neglect. ( rightly so to! )
Some of the doe's have given birth while at the rescue and the babies are beautiful.
But here she is and we are keeping the name Jess as we think it's quite nice, just a few photos as I didn't want to stress her out too much after her 2 hour journey. We did stop at the services on the way back and I offered her some water but she didn't take any but has had a nice big drink when in her hutch we have now left her to settle in and have some peace and quiet and she is now fast asleep in her litter tray

After a long journey....home!

Well its over now baby girly - Rory thinks she is yummy, and is more than slightly jealous of Kenzo. I have told the young whipper snappper to stop looking at girly pictures on the laptop

I have a feeling she is going to look a slightly different colour in a few weeks when she has got into the grooming, she looks like a lovely vanilla - Rory is 3 shades lighter these days than he was
