Hello!
Hi everyone!
My name is Emily and I am mum to Pippin who is a mini lop buck (approx) 11 months old. He is a house bun and is very much part of our family. We are relatively new to bunny keeping and have had Pippin since November/December last year. Before Pippin we had a dwarf lop buck named Loki, but unfortunately we lost him very suddenly to GI Stasis.
Pippin has free run of our living room, and when we are in, free run of most of the house. He has his own hutch in the living room where he has his water, litter tray and food bowl, but we have 'modified' our living room so that it is totally safe for him to be 'free range'!
As we are reasonably new to this, I am looking forward to reading about other people's tips and experiences, and also to be able to ask advice!
At the moment, Pippin lives on his own, but we are looking at finding him a rescue bun as a companion as I know that rabbits are sociable animals and enjoy the company of other rabbits.
Thanks for reading this!

Re: Hello!
Hi Emily
Nice to meet you guys. I'm sorry to hear you lost your first bun
I have just the one bun, my old girl thumper.
Have you had a look around this meet and greet section? Might be a good place to start getting to know who is who. I found it helpful
I hope you like it here

Re: Hello!
Welcome to HH Emily.
Pippin has a lovely squishable face. Sorry to hear about Loki, but buns are so good at hiding illness. Hope you enjoy the site. Have a good look around and just get posting.
