One Show Rabbits

Anyone just see it?

Why make them suffer a journey for only seconds on screen? They were very sweet but the guy picked it up not supporting his back legs

Am I just being a critical viewer or am I right to be annoyed?

is that the program on BBC1 at 7? i wonder if it's on iPlayer.

I came in half way through, there was a woman in the countryside spotting wild bunnies, trying to get close to them using camo etc, that bit was quite good and she was talking about how alert and shy they are.

But when it went back to the studio they had about 5 bunnies in, 4 sat on the sofa one on a guy's lap (I think he's the wildlife type correspondent for the show or something). He had a very hot looking mini lop on his lap and he picked it up twice under the front arms to show the audience, not for long, but neither time did he support it's legs

By no means was this bunny going to struggle, because it was clearly too warm for any energetic movements, but I felt sorry for it really, and it wasn't a good example of how to pick up rabbits. Plus the journey to get there, for what? 2 mins on air

I also came in halfway through the show so dont know what it was about and couldnt understand the point with the bit I watched.
