I had been out to put the cat food down as we have a feral cat that comes everynight for his food and then I went back into the house to get the hedgehog food for Henrietta as she is usally out of her house and ready for her food about 9.30 at night but I was running late and so as I came back out the house I saw the feral cat sat waiting and as I spoke he ran off (he's very nervous ) and as I was filling Henrietta's dish up I heard munching and there she was Henrietta eating the cat food Laughing Laughing
Good job it wasn't fish tonight for the cat!

Oh I must have forgot to update her thread to say she was back, she was missing for a few days but we have seen her with a big male so we
think she has been doing a bit of 'dating' we also think she is eating some of the cat food everynight before tucking in to her own food, which is ok but sometimes the cat has fish and fish isn't good for hedgehogs Rolling Eyes

I've twice made my o/h pick one up to save them from cats trying to hurt them Sad

Does the cat not go for her?

No not at all cats don't usually as the hedgehog will curl into a ball and the cat's hate the spines but I think with Henrietta and the feral cat I think they have just got use to each other now as I put the cat's food down and then fill Henriettas dish and so they are both eating at the same time usually Laughing

Oh I can't wait for the day when she has a little line of hoglets behind her sometimes I'm tempted to peek in her little house but I can't as she may leave if I disturb her and I don't want her to as she is safe in our garden, or I hope she is. I will be taking photos if I see any babies Very Happy
