Buns have hutch, run and garden (when i'm in) and they do sleep all day Rolling Eyes

A night time is a nightmare Embarassed

Flopsy goes in as soon as i fill up the food bowl no matter what time Very Happy

Madam aka Flora whose i law into herself and a little sod Laughing wont have any of it No

I go out, tell her its bed time and she just sits there Shocked , i feed them really late but that doesnt work Shocked

I end up doing 3 laps round the garden trying to get her in, she runs inbetween the plant pots, down sides of the garden, then promptly sits under the hutch where i cant get her HBWS

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated Very Happy

So far i havnt found anything that will get Madam in HBWS

I'm quite often found running round the garden about 11pm shouting

"flora, bedtime sweetheart"

"flora, bed!"

"flora get to bed you little madam!!!"

Neighbours will really think ive lost the plot Embarassed

Gravel board from the diy shop is just the perfect size to create a pelmet around the bottom of hutches to stop pesky rabbits form getting underneath. Mine g.pig hutch has one to stop the rabbits hiding underneath.

If you go back into the archive of old threads, you will find threads about my now deceased buns Wolfgang and Gloria, who sound like they have been reincarnated into your two. Good luck! Wolfie was a total nightmare to get in so I feel your pain!

What I ended up doing was using a green tupperware bowl with their greens in (which was their supper at night prior to being put away) and making sure that it was the same routine every night. Gradually Wolfie learnt that when he heard me shaking the bowl and calling that it was a good idea to get into the hutch, but it too a while. They are creatures of habit and using association does help them.

Ive got a large garden and I have to use a soft broom or a mop , it never touches them but it helps to round them and get them in ... sometimes they think it is a game though and can be naughty....
