Our Visit to Farplace Animal Rescue
On Tuesday Mike and I went up to Farplace Animal Rescue in Bishop Auckland to take some rabbit hutches for the bunnies and I met 'Maggie' who went to Farplace as an orphaned fox cub at about 4 weeks old, she had ringworm, ticks and roundworm on arrival and was very poorly but she is now fit and healthy and I got chance to hold her.....well sort of hold her
'Thank You' Jan at Farnplace Rescue for kindly showing me round and taking me
to see a Badgers set which was so interesting

It was a pleasure! Can I just point out that Maggie does't "Live" in that little crate. It's her sleeping den. Also notice that in one of the shots you can see her freshly "killed" toy cow in the back corner

Beautiful I always thin that when people have the chance to live with a wild animal on its terms, it's something very magical that crosses boundaries
Re: Our Visit to Farplace Animal Rescue
Ooo I love foxes. For all the trekking I do through random forests/fields Ive not seen one properly. A couple of deer, some squirrels, a whole bunch of birds and rabbits everywhere but no sign of Mr Fox... Or a badger but my Dad says I won't see one they hide too much.

Re: Our Visit to Farplace Animal Rescue
I am very jealous! I worked at a wildlife rescue when I was younger and we had two hand-reared foxes there, one, called Annie, was super friendly and acted much like a domestic dog. She would greet you by rolling on her back at you feet and whimpering.
She was amazing, and spawned a life-long love of foxes, which always surprises people due to me being a rabbit person!
