From the info out there I would give vit E until properly recovered.

Re: mxy, e cun, floppy bunny? Help please!
The FRS rabbit I had had one Vit E capsule per day for 2 weeks, then we slowly increased the gap between until it was once a week. He never relapsed. I used the oil filled capsules, just cut them open and squeased it on to food.
The recovery is dramatic, as you described. Usually within 48 hours you will have a completely normal rabbit again.
I think you can be reasonably confident that what you are dealing with is a Vit E/Selenium deficiency based on what you've said.

Thank you so much, the amount of times we looked at him and thought he wasn't going to hold out much longer...I rang the lady from the rescue centre where I got him from just over a year ago to let her know. Shes had another lady ring up for advice re a floppy bun.

Aside from the obvious anxiety involved, I've really learned something from BB's last three days. I'm so glad he's recovered

We certainly were...we kept getting up in the middle of the night and my first thought was "are you still alive" as he looked so bad. He is completely back to normal now! Moving them back into their outside hutch/run later today although I have loved watching them binky round our bedroom!
