Marley's Nook
Thought id post some pictures of Marley and Dolly's abode. Ive posted pictures of Skyes setup and made reference to M&Ds setup in some posts, but i dont think anyone has actually seen it. Might also give someone some inspitation...
BEFORE: Just after id scrubbed it all down and disinfected it. I bought it 2nd hand for £80 and is already 8 years old, so well used!
AFTER:
These pictures are from Spring time, ive since planted some herbs and plants - which ive since killed Ive also added a hasp and staple lock to the main door and the internal mesh door (which also has fly mesh on).
Ive since added a 2nd shelf on the back wall, but i dont have any pictures :S

You should see it now, the inside i mean. Its trashed at the moment, but its "MEGA CLEAN DAY" tomorrow, so ill have to get some more. I sweep up daily, but have a major clean once a week where i empty it all out, hoover it top to bottom, disinfect it etc. I like to make sure spiders and bugs dont get much chance to multiply!

Oh Sophia that look's brilliant and it just goes to show what you can do with an old second hand shed...you have made it look like new!
It look's lovely and clean inside with being painted white

Thank you everyone Im quite proud of it, especially since i designed it and apart from getting some help putting it together, i did most of it myself - Ive never picked up a hammer/screw driver in my life!
...I regret painting the inside though, Maysie! It doesnt look so crisp and clean when somebunny decides to miss the litter tray and pee on the walls!!

Re: Marley's Nook
I know the feeling Sophia about the white walls as we have a few that are badly stained but the good thing is you can always repaint inside once a year, I think that's what we will be doing
If you have done all that yourself you should be very proud as you have done an excellent job

I think ill repaint it this year, if bonding goes well, ill do it before they go back into the play house. I also did a fantastic job of painting the concrete for dad.... Its good stuff, 6 months down the line, its still there!

Feel free, though there are 2 nethies residing there and they will not move out! You may struggle to fit through the cat flap, but i dont charge rent providing that you keep the spiders and woodlice at bay!

Re: Marley's Nook
That looks fantastic!! Fits in the space outside brilliantly and I love the colour and the work you've done.
I know what you mean about white interior and buns that won't wee where they are supposed too
The OH built a small coffee table that has a ramp leading up to it for the buns to climb up, the toilet is up there in the corner, and when the buns miss it goes all over lovely white tiles. Somehow there is a stain up there now that I cannot move and the grout is no longer white!

TBH it was my own fault, naughty mummy moved one of the litter trays! They do occasionally miss though, but i can forgive them! Id like to see this coffee table, im assuming theyre free range?
