how do I spot clean?

Since twink has been spayed she is minging. all the tail area stinks of wee and is realy dirty. How do I spot clean and what with???
Im so scared of her getting fly strike. We live near country so there is loads of flys etc. Ive got one of them zappers on the top of her cage but I dont think its enough

Thumper gets like that sometimes because she's an old lady who I think wees in her sleep.

Now and again we have to give her a bum bath. My o/h holds her on her back with her bum under the tap in the bathroom and I wash her bum and tail with bunny shampoo from P@H.

It's not an enjoyable experience for any of the 3 of us, thumper hates it, but needs must!

Is she an outside bun? If yeh you need to make sure she is 100% dry before you put her back out

no she is a house bun now, with the occasional dart outside lol x

This is the best way we find to clean really mucky bunny buns, you just have to make sure you hold them correctly and that the running water is not to hot

Plenty of support for her back and water not too hot, not too cold

tbh I think she liked the warm water on her lol, I give her a good wash but she is still stained. I found a boil like wound on her bum Ive trimmed her right back round the tail area just incase it was fly strike. There was nothing wiggling etc just looks like a big spot. She has an appointment for the vets on monday and ill get him to check if it hasnt healed by then. Its a scab now I dabbed it with a bit salt to seal it. Tbh she hasnt been able to twist that far round since being spayed
