OMG she's gorgeous and the same honey colour as our Henry, only trouble is we already have a Rosie so I will have to think of calling her Rose or something...but she's gorgeous

Maysie, you will have to do a "Rosie" thread when you pick her up. I want to see how she gets on, and this means ill most certainly have to come to the HH meet

ETA: No, shes not as big as I was led to believe, but shes definitley the biggest bun ive ever handled. Im sure she'll be fit as a "lop" in no time

Glad to know there is human kindness in the world. I love fat buns but know its not right, We got our rosemary and she was massive when she came, but it turned out she was pregnant . Is there no chance she could be?

Rosie is certainly lovely looking despite being confined for all her life. And hasn't she fallen on her feet now becoming a Tucker bunny.

I think I would trust Maysie and Mike with my buns life, and thats saying something!

Just came on to have another wee look at you Rosie before I go to bed just 2 more sleeps and you will be here, tomorrow I'm going to make you a lovely big bed up with loads of hay. Next week we will book you in to see Aunty Honor and she will give you a bunny M.O.T.
Sorted some toys out for you to play with and if we have some nice weather ( ) you can go out in the garden in the biggest bunny run and you will be cuddled and kissed and spoilt. I think Mike will have to make you a big hutch in the garage so you can see Barry and the rest of the Tuckerbunny gang.

Hi guys.

Sorry, been really busy! Only just got a second to sit down, still have a load of things to do.

Shes been here about 45minutes now. **** wasnt in, but gave us her keys and let mum and I go and get her. She was still in the grazing ark, I assume this is where she has been living because the locks on her hutch were broken. **** wouldnt be going back home until well into tomorrow, and Rosie was left with an empty water bottle, and old rabbit mix, that seems to have been there a while. There was certainly no hay (I guess the only plus side is she had grass to eat, which would also contain some water) and the bed area was just bare wood. So its worse than I thought.

Rosie is quite stressed out, but has had a nibble on some hawthorn and hay. I wont feed her any pellets as I dont want to upset her tummy, but ill give her some herbs later on. Obviously dont want to stress her our anymore, but her claws could do with a clip, her dewlap is matted and the under side of her tail is crusty with poo/urine. Its not good, but ive seen worse. Havent looked at her teeth. As far as her weight goes, I know she looks on the large side, but after having a good feel of her, I can feel her spine and her ribs more than I can in my own rabbits. I could be totally wrong though, im not that experienced when it comes to weight. I guess you just get used to whats normal for your own buns.

Shes lovely though, and has had a snuggle with me. Im just going to leave her for tonight, shes in a 4ftx4ft pen. No point stressing her out anymore when shes got to go through it all again tomorrow night.

I think you have done a marvelous thing Sophia, thanks to you, Maysie and Mike, this bun is not only getting the life she deserves....she has also just won the bunny lottery!

I keep getting tempted to keep her, shes lovely
I might not be able to take on anymore, but now I know my limit, ive been able to help so many other animals find good homes. Rosie isnt the first and she wont be the last.

Maysie, I know you have a Rosie and was considering Rose, but she really suits Lucy too. Her bed looks nice and comfy!
