cosy bed for winter
Charlies cosy bed came, this is what we are hoping will keep him warm when the cold weather sets in, fill it with hay, wont go in till the weather really does drop to lower temps, he's fine without it at the moment.

Me too, this time the hut (not hutch) is solid, weather proofed and got much more room, will stock up on loads of hay stuff hay in the little house and some boxes of hay so he has a choice of where he wants to go, I am sure he will keep himself warm with what he has and not be daft lying up at the window till he is frozen solid. Might get a thermal cover for the window, put it on the outside so he wont chew it. Want to be prepared early just incase.

Re: cosy bed for winter
Grace our old bun has one of them bed's and she loves it and the great thing about them is it all comes apart to wash and they wash well , but just be careful if Charlie is a nibbler as it has a cushion inside with foam in and Grace ripped her's and there was foam everywhere I took it out and put a thick towel in

I will probs do that, noticed the foam when hubby opened it up. I used old towel today to take him to vet so will probs use them be easier washed.
