hello everyone
Hi,
just joined this forum and recent dad to three absolutely wonderful rabbits Daiy Flopsy and Bluebell (my baby girls i call them)
i first got daisy who is a brown rabbit (standard i believe) she was 16 weeks old when i got her she is a shy nervous yet exciteable bun then we got Flopsy who is a french lop and a grey colouring who is adorable cuddly not shy but very exciteable she was 13 weeks old when we got her they both are great friends and eat sleep play and get up to all sorts of mischief together
i noticed at our local pet shop a white rabbit that was a rescue who was very fiesty i tried to see if i could tempt her but she just hit out all the time,
any way could not get her out of my mind i went there often over a few weeks and then she disappeared so i asked about her and they said she was at the vets being neutered,
she came back but was still pretty fiesty and scared i guess but could not resist her anymore and my wife said okay go and get her so two weeks ago i went and got her and a seperate house cage for her she is called Bluebell and is about a year old i was told she was mistreated and abandoned in a garden by her owner no wonder she was sooo angry she is absolutely lovely she gets to run around seperate from daisy and flopsy but when they are in bed in their cages they can see each other as i put cages in an L shape so not totally segregated (i hope i'm doing it right),
Bluebell now lets me stroke her and she gets excited at food times and loves the treats i give them like a little bit of apple or some treatums or parsly etc.
she does not seem to like to be out of her cage she's still very nervous if we get visitors she will go and hide in her little room in her cage she thumped me a lot at first but not for the last nearly a week so i think i'm gaining her trust.

Welcome to HH
Your buns are just lovely and Bluebell is a lucky lady. Once she gets to trust you she will be a lot friendlier. It just takes a bit of patience.
