soooo bit of a embarresing question!
What colour is buns sperm???
Our Twink is exceptionally groomed now she is in with Jasper (shes spayed) and is as white as snow when I first let her out, but once they have been in the garden all day she comes back in orange stuff all over her head! Now Jasper does have a thing for head humping as we have all found out! but Im just wondering if this orange stuff could be sperm? I mean its so orange its almost glowing and there is nothing in the garden like that!

Are you sure it is sperm, he might be spraying her with his wee. Most of my bunnies sprayed before they were deplummed. I don't remember it glowing though. x

Re: soooo bit of a embarresing question!
Its realy bright lol at first I thought it was blood as I seen it from a distance so after a frantic chase about the garden on closer inspection it was bright orange, Ill get a pic next time as this has happend a few times not just with him though, and not usualy orange. Sometimes its brown (roman) or beige (ginge) just depends lol x

Re: soooo bit of a embarresing question!
It sounds to me as if Twink has been sprayed with urine by Jasper which can sometimes happen. The bright orange colour could be down to beta-carotene which is the orange pigment in carrots.

It's erm, sort of clear (I told you Joey was being VERY naughty before his de-plumming... )

Re: soooo bit of a embarresing question!
I can confirm it looks just like a humans, I've also had a couple of over excited male rabbits who needed to be parted from their plums after a couple of 'incidents'.
Re: soooo bit of a embarresing question!
Keep thinking I'll send Lil Loll for a stay in the vets Nutcracker suite but he's such a good lad (no spraying or bad sexual related behavior) and after losing my previous buck, Milligan, while he was under anesthetic foe neutering, I'm a bit scared of it happening to my lil darlin'.
NB. See what I called him just then!
