Shaving buns bum?
Doea anyone have to shave their buns bum/tail area?
How hard do you find it to do? Is it easy to accidentally cut them?
I've seen the vet do it but I'm still not awful sure about doing it myself
Please help

I know that rabbits have very thin skin, so it might be better to ask your vet to do it just to be on the safe side.

I value my fingers too much to allow them to wield a razor around Loll's nether-regions. He's still a full buck and I dread to think what he would do if I came at him armed with any kind of sharp object!

Bum has been washed and we are off to the vets at 3.40
I can't believe how quick it grows back, it was done only done at the start of August!

Re: Shaving buns bum?
how did you manage to wash her bum? garrus likes to play in his litter box and his tail and hocks smell too, but he would go ballistic if he notices we're trying to keep him still for a bum washing or nail clipping.

Re: Shaving buns bum?
Thank you
Thumper is very mellow, she just sits and takes whatever you have to do. Turn her over, shampoo and rinse. I get death stares and foot stomping afterwards but give her a treat and she's fine.
I'm very lucky, she even climbs up on my knee so i can dry her
