Working against clock. Advice needed on wood treatment.

The playhouse has rot, it needs treating and the buns need to be back in by Sunday evening/Monday morning. Im off today, and have had to take a day off work this weekend to get it done. I bought some Cuprinol 5 star wood treatment yesterday. Its designed to kill wet rot, dry rot and wood worm, but its solvent based. The container says to keep animals away for 48 hours - does this mean it isnt safe?

What else can i use to treat and prevent rot once weve removed the worst and filled it in?
What if i use the cuprinol and then get some metal strips to put along the wood so they cant chew the treated areas?

Advice needed asap.
