Beatrix Potters House at Hill Top.

This is me (don't laugh 
) in September 2000 outside Beatrix Potter's stone farm house at Hill Top Farm, Sawtry, Cumbria. Beatrix Potter bought this house in 1905 with the money that she got from her first few books that she wrote, she created characters Jeminma Puddleduck, Samuel Whiskers and Tom Kitten here and the book's contained many pictures that were based on the Hill Top house and garden.
What Mike and I found so amazing looking in Beatrix Potters garden there in the middle was a little Wildie bun and we found that a magical moment...could it have been Peter Rabbit?

That is really wonderful! I bet she would love to think of buns nibbling in the veggi patch long after she was gone.
