Ok so I'm now on countdown to this.

Do you think I should feed her a bit extra today and tomorrow?

No need, she can eat right up to the op so just feed her as normal.

Ok cool I will just keep doing that.

I woke up at about 4am this morning and she was unusually quiet, so I got up to see what she was doing, and she begged for breakfast the little ***. I'm starting to feel like she owns me and not the other way around now!
