Cuprinol garden shades and the Ronseal equivalent are both safe, as is the ronseal yacht varnish as i contacted them a while back. I would always advise calling back again though, as things do change. I guess the yacht varnish will keep your wood its natural colour, but protect it against the weather, or you can get all sorts of nice colours from ronseal and cuprinol Smile

I called Cuprinol the other day, and they wouldnt even tell me if garden shades was safe!

I hope the Cuprinol garden shades are safe as we use them and it say's safe for animals on the tin if it's not we have a right to know. Think I will go with the http://www.ecospaints.com/
in future as they sound very safe. Didn't know about them before.

'Thanks Jan' for the link Thumbs Up
