Re: The little Guy
Hi Katie, sorry to hear that his Royal Bunnyness isn't very well. Give him lots of noserubs from me.
On the subject of vets, there is one in our practice that I won't allow to touch any of my buns. She is only qualified a little while and it totally useless. She's the one who injected straight through Felix's scruff! I just looked at her and she blushed. After that, I went and told the reception staff that I never wanted her to touch my rabbits and they were really good and always told me if she was likely to be on duty so I could re-arrange a different appointment.

Re: The little Guy
Thanks everyone,
I wish I knew what the problem was. I am going to take him to see Mr C on saturday if he's no better. He's eating his hay and veg fine, but refuses to even look at his nugs....normally a sure sign that something is up. He has let me do a fully bunny massage and so I dont think anything is hurting in his body, and his poo's are slightly smaller but not tiny. I dont think its his teeth because he isnt head shaking dribbling and his nose isnt runny.
I know my boy though.....and something isnt right.

Re: The little Guy
I think the myxi jab has upset his tummy as some buns can be poorly with it for a few days our poor Keegan that we had use to be off for about a week I use to dread when the time came round for his vaccines and felt guilty but I use to think better him be upset for a week than end up with the dreaded Myxi.

Re: The little Guy
I will add that Bertie used to have a bad reaction to Myxo - that was whilst he had, but we didn't know he had, arthritis. It could take him 4-5 days to behave normally. Once had was being treated, he was better, but still had a couple of funny days.
Hope he's ok today x

Hes ok, he's nibbling still but still no nuggie eating.
Im deffo going to take him up to see Mr C on saturday. I wish I could just put my finger on what is wrong.
His Myxi was a week ago now and I was really hoping to see an improvement.

Re: The little Guy
Hey everyone thank you for the vibes.
we are back from the Vets. Mr C was as brilliant as ever! It wasnt his abscess playing up thank goodness, it was simply spikey teefs again.
We are to put him on a hay and grass only diet (god help us) to slow this down as its only been 4 weeks since his last dental - but he is doing fine.
So now for the hay and grass only diet........I doubt I will be bandying about the phrase "happy bunny" for a while. In fact if you dont hear from me again its because I have been kidnapped and am being held for ransom of some nuggies.
