Most of my girls dont like being picked up but thats cos they are out all day and night and I think they find it restricting, but once they are up most are fine apart from moon and flex. They boys are much more managable but they only like a cuddle if they come to me, I pat the side of the sofa and they will jump up, I got them to do this by bribing them with food lol x

well i've decided im not going to carry on with trying to handle magnum. It doesnt seem to be working, if anything its back firing on me.
I thought maybe if he had treats after being picked up he would become ok with it. But all hes doing is running and hiding from me instead. Its getting to th point where he wont even let me stroke him now, incase i pick him up.
So i have decided im gonna leave him alone, i'll deal with handling for bum checks etc when it comes to it. I appreciate he's never gonna be a cuddle bun, lets just hope we can get back to stroking.
What have i done

[b]It realy has taken 3 years to handle Ruffin and she still isnt keen I was told once that its because they are preditor animals they dont like anything grabing them and if they cant see at short distance then they cant distingwish through site who has hold of them. Ruffin even now when she is eating and I have noticed this with the others they will put there back against a solid item presumably the same thing to minimise the risk of being grabed from behind. So just be patient it will come but it may take a while
