found a little info on him, a bit sad really he came in with another to rescue but they kept fighting and skippy bit the other one and made her bleed so they were seperated and to be honest i've now seen the other one and they both do seem happy apart.
i hope the other one finds a nice forever home,
the owner was an old lady who had problems with her wrists and could not look after them as well as they deserved and so gave them to rescue and she was in tears. Sad
i hope she goes back in and they tell her i've got skippy and he will be well looked after and loved as they all now know me well. Very Happy
at least she would know he's going to be okay.

At least you know he has been a loved bunny and not one that has been treated badly. What a wrench it must be for someone elderly to have to give up a pet because of their health worsening. So cruel to them and their pet.

You could always write a short note and ask the rescue to forward it on so that she knows what has happened to Skippy and that he is safe and will have a new partner. I am sure she would be happy to know he has found such a good home.

So sad Sad Bizarrely, they are now using rabbits in senior residential homes etc for companion therapy.

I think the note is a great idea, maybe include a pic?
