Hay, so good and yet sooo bad Empty Hay, so good and yet sooo bad

Post by Felix&Willow Sat Jan 07, 2012 11:14 am

Over the last couple of weeks my Hoover broke, my car got hit up the backside, and then the washing machine broke!

The car accident was nothing to do with the buns or their hay I'm glad to say!

I have bought a new Hoover (50% off VAX hoovers in tesco) and my stepdad fixed the asking machine by hooking out a ton of hay, readi grass, grey fluff, and a few coins out of the filter!

I really must be more carefull the shake out the buns towels and blankets in future Smile

Oooh that's good to know, as I'm dreadful for just hoovering the stuff up.

I don't think I'd be popular if the dyson conked out because of that Embarassed

Unbelievably the same thing happened to me a year ago and wrote off my car and left me with a dislocated rib. 9 mnths of Physio and 3 mnths of having no pain then WHAM! I got hit up the bum again! For 24 hrs after the accident I was really worried the pain would hit, but it didn't, I'm fine, it wasn't as severe and it didn't throw out my top rib again thank god. It was so bad with the first accident that for weeks my little girl had to help me wash my hair and get dressed - people just need to slow down Hmmm

I have a filter on my washing machine (or asking machine if using an Iphone) but haven't been able to open the flap. Dread to think what is lurking in there!

I've become obsessed with lint rollers!! I roller everything of Buttons' before it goes in the machine! Works well! Avoids fluff blockages too! Thumbs Up Laughing

Lint rollers, those magic brushes and cellotape are great at getting the thick of the mess up - I'm not allowed to hoover the hay up Laughing

You must be giving them too much pocket money Wink

Our washing machine takes a bit of a bashing, but keeps going strong. Hudad has had to turn it upside down a couple of times, wave tools at it in a threatening manner and have stern words, which seems to work (he's good like that). Our vacuum, James, takes everything in his stride.

I am forever cleaning the filter in my washing machine, it's always blocked with hay and bits of vet bed fluff as I wash a lot of vet bed with Helen and Baby Saint as they are both well incontinent being disabled, I love it in Summer when I can get it all out on the line to dry .
Mike usually unblocks the hoover for me and that's also full of hay.

* ah the joy's of having bunnies * Smile
