My Perfect Paris

I don't know where to begin in writing this, i'm all over the place at the moment. But my perfect Paris has left for the bridge and it was very sudden. I got Paris as a companion after my Nan died in 2006, I bought her with my birthday money and instantly fell in love with her when I saw her. She got me through a very long and difficult period in my life and if she wasn't there I wouldn't be here now. Paris' death was very sudden, she had been ill for many months and I didn't even think she was going to make it to christmas but she did, she was fine not that long before and then I go in to top up water and give more pellets and she was gone not too long before she was hopping around like a loony. She was born 1st January 2006 and died 25th January 2012. I had 6 wonderful years with my beautiful blue dutch girl, I only wish it was longer. I feel lost, confused & crushed. i don't know what to do or to say i'm just a mess. Binky free my beautiful dutch girl reunited with your Stacy, she'll be happy to see you and I know you'll look after each other, until the day we meet again I will just miss you more and more. It will be very hard without you now and i'm not sure how I am going to cope.

You know how much of a soft spot I had for her, I'm so gutted to read this this morning She was beautiful and a lovely character.

You've been very lucky to have 6 wonderful years with such a lovely bunny -I'm truly sorry for your loss Lorna

Lorna I know this is the day that you have been dreading and I feel gutted for you having to do the post in the first place.

She was a beautiful girl and she had a wonderful life with you. 6 years of happiness that I am sure that both of you cherished. Now she is at rest and her suffering is over.

She's back with her Stacy now and I know Stacy will be pleased to see her, they absolutely loved eah other. Even Holly gave Paris a kiss goodbye, Holly grew up with Paris from 6 months old and Paris used to mother her.

Oh Lorna, I am so sorry you have lost the beautiful Paris. This was such a shock to wake up to this morning.

I know your heart will be breaking and nothing I can say will make you feel any better, so I am sending you lots of instead.

Sleep well Paris, you will be so missed little girl.

I'm going to ger cremated and she will have her own little casket for her ashes. I'm selling a load of my stuff to pay for it because she is very important to me and i'd rather have her than anything else I own, my stuff can be replaced but their is only one Paris and she's going in style

I am so sorry hun, I know you have been dreading this day and knew it was coming - but she is at peace now, you had six wonderful years with her and I know its not enough because no matter how much time we have it is never enough. .. but that being said she did have a happy life and you have to think of it as rabbits have no awareness of space, and time. All she knew is that she was happy and had a good life, and thats the most important thing.

You will be able to cope without her - because you are strong enough. It wasn't Paris who made you strong it was her being there that gave you confidence to push on, and even though she is gone - a force that special keeps you pushing on regardless. This isnt about me in any way but when Bonnie died I felt the same, she had been there since i was eight, always there when things were rough and i didnt know how i could cope without her. But I did - because I had to but also because something that gives you that feeling never ever goes away.
