Re: A new friend in the fridge!
Ewww look at him!! Looks cute on the screen but I was have been scared of the slippery little mite if he was on my celery... don't blame you!!
Re: A new friend in the fridge!
Eww, gross!! Were you about to eat the celery and had it up to your mouth and then spied the little guy right before it reached your mouth? Cause that'd be funny!

Re: A new friend in the fridge!
I was preparing Carlton's salady nomnoms and it was just sat on top of the celery. I freaked because I'd eaten a couple of sticks the day before, bleurgh!

Aw he is cute but ewwwwwww. I once found a maggot in Asda tinned toms and was nearly sick. It was on xmas eve too. I hate bugs crawling on stuff. I read today that someone found a snail in a pastie
Re: A new friend in the fridge!
Is it a slug? He's very cute! But no, I wouldn't eat celery ever again.

Re: A new friend in the fridge!
Oh good grief, I have a complete phobia about slugs.
It was a hysterical morning when I opened a pack of spring greens and a huge black one was amongst the leaves

*HEAVE*
UGH!
I don't mind creepy crawlies (just as well, living here!) but when they are on my food Luckily I hate celery but still. UGH I feel for you Laura. That's one way to get on a diet though - put slugs on all your food and put yourself off it

Aww, he's a cutie! Whatcha gonna call him? Whenever we get any other life around (bluetits in the bird box, mouse in the lounge, etc) we call them Bertie's pets, and put all the responsibility on him

I didn't name him unfortunately! He now lives on a farm in Sywell..... although he's probably been eaten by a bird or something now!

Re: A new friend in the fridge!
Well that'll teach you to scrub celery before you eat it...it is one of the most sprayed veg..I love it but always go at it with a scrubbing brush ..gets rid of surface pesticides...and slugs!

EWWWWWWWW!
An elderly neighbour gave me some raspberries to eat once and obviously hadn't cleaned them as they were crawling with bugs, still can't eat raspberries and that was years ago!
