Re: -10 degrees
I feel SO stupid! Here I'm reading about all these minus degree temps.....I was so very concerned that you were having an ice age start over there. THEN lizzi says it is 7 degrees and raining which is meteorologically impossible at -- 7degrees Fahrenheit!
Y'all use Celsius! And here I thought Father Jack was having his hudad out digging in frozen ground! He still deserves the rum though! The temperature I was thinking of is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of -20C.

Still veeeeery cold here in Lancashire. We've not had snow but falling ice and the world is frozen solid. The Hu-parents made the run out to stock up on veggies for us, bless 'em, but a bit later a van totally failed to get up the hill past our house, so I think there won't be many people out and about tonight....

I think we got all your snow over 'The Border', Sparky - definitely got more than we need.
It was chaos at the supermarkets this morning when I was stocking up - I think everybody was expecting to be snowed in for the next few weeks

Re: -10 degrees
We have sleet but no snow. Im relieved as I have to work tomorrow, and I was fretting about what to do with my little guys if it was snowing.
i hope they are warm enough out there.

Re: -10 degrees
Yuck
We have snow, it's not that deep but it is slippery. I just nearly sliped over twice while going to the shed to get more hay out. I hope the bunnies appreciate it!!! Dougal is sat there munching it, and Florence is zooming about.
I hate the stuff. I'm really miserable when it comes to snow. I got married on my birthday (December 24th) in 2010 and it snowed the week before. All I got leading up to it was "oh it will be nice for the photos" and in the end I got so annoyed I was informing everyone that there wouldn't be a wedding if it continued as we wouldn't actually manage to get the the new forest!! Knobs!

Re: -10 degrees
Thursday and Friday night we had -6
Poor buns bowl was frozen and so was the spout of the bottle since I can't really protect it. They're very good, when I go out in the morning Tigger runs to the bowl, looks at me, then back to the bowl. Subtle
We have about 6 inches of snow today! But no frozen bottles/bowls
These two love the cold they go bonkers.
Anyone let their buns out in the snow? I've not done it before.

Re: -10 degrees
Quite a nice day today here in North Yorkshire, a bit cold but no snow fall and what we have got seem's to be melting. I think compared to a lot of places we didn't have it so bad.

Not too bad now at this end of the county now too.
My brother doesn't regard it as cold until it's cold enough to freeze your nose hair It's about - 30c where he is working at the mo. It's not been unknown for him to spend the night in a tent in that temperature. I think I'll stick to good old British climate.

its nice in south yorkshire too but very cold,up to now there water bottles have been ok,but i have noticed the bunnies have moved up to the second level, must be a bit warmer there as they will get a little heat from the piggies,so ive moved there food, snugglesafes and vetbed up to them and i also bought a king size duvet yesterday to go over there cage,so hopefully they will be toasty warm this winter,i was worried about them last night
