Hare artwork anyone?
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying any of my hare art work, just to recap
1)
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)
I think I would sell prints of the originals, they are drawn with conte crayon and pastel pencil on A3 paper to give an idea of size, but could be made smaller when copied.
I just wondered what the interest would be, if any, at a price of around £10??? Not done this sort of thing before, so any suggestions greatly appreciated.
I'm working on some Jack Rabbits at the mo, such gorgeous long ears
This one is not quite finished yet
ETA I may even venture into bunny portraits, would there be any interest in this too?

Re: Hare artwork anyone?
I'd love a print of no 4. You'd have to sign it though, so when you are rich and famous we can say 'Ah, we knew her when...'
You should have a look at some of the stuff on eBay too with a view to offering them on there. There are some lovely amateur originals and prints on there (and some hideous ones...)

Re: Hare artwork anyone?
I will look into some prints tomorrow then
Katie, I have done some portraits of my buns, some with more success than others
I would enjoy the challenge of doing people's buns but on the proviso that if they were awful no one ever saw them and I wouldn't sell it. A friend of mine's hubby did some portraits of my children and OMG they were awful. I didn't know what to say, I just said 'oh they are lovely' handed her the money and eventually threw it out in the recycling.
I would need to know if someone thought the portrait was rubbish, else I would never learn to improve and I would be absolutely mortified if someone was just being polite and lied about liking it. I'd rather know the truth however brutal.

Ok, I'm gonna be brave, post a few good photos, biggish ones and I will have a go at bunny portraits. If they are rubbish I won't show them them, but if they are ok I will show you to see what you think. I tend to work quite big on A3 paper (double sized A4). Not sure of a price though, as they take me several hours but can always send a print.

Re: Hare artwork anyone?
I think they are amazing but unfortunately my OH is a boring sod and wouldn't go for hare pics
I'm sure you will have no problems selling them though!

I'm happy to pay if you do one of the terrible two. I just looked over to see if they were in a nice pose and, errrm, Dougal had his head under Florence between her tummy and tail I don't think hubby would let me put a picture of that on the wall!!
I will catch them in an ultra cute pose if you fancy doing them some time.

Re: Hare artwork anyone?
Is No. 1 and No. 3 the same picture, just different sizes? I just love it and would love a print of it. I think the hare's expression is wonderful.

They are the same picture Nickie, No1 is just a cropped section of No3.
Am going down the village this afternoon to look into getting some prints done.
Thank you all for your encouragement.
