Icedancer's Dougal & Florence portrait

Carla asked me to do a portrait of Florence and Dougal and today i finished it



I used soft pastels and pastel pencil.

Oh its brilliant! Really really lovely x

Im off for a few days now so will get something of my Daisy uploaded. I wish I had some good pics of the terrible twosome but I just dont yet.

The best photos are ones taken with the light source behind you or outside and bent down to their level. The clearer the photo the more detail I can add and the better the likeness. I would love to do one of Daisy, all those lovely steely greys and platinums

I just love it, you've got Dougals markings down to a tee, especially his little wonky black splodge on his nose.

I'm going to try and go frame shopping at the weekend and it's going above the sofa. I'll show you all a photo or two of it once it's hanging

WOW! You captured them perfectly! You even got dimension in and a soft look to Florence's all black fur. And that isn't easy. Both of their expressions are just 'them!' Carla will treasure them forever!

I showed hubby this morning, he said Florences expression was perfect He said it looked just like a photo.

Poor Florence, we all know her as a stroppy madam these days

More photos are needed of Charlie and Annie How about getting a portrait done of them in the recycling bin!!!

It's really weird seeing something I did on someone elses wall I really enjoyed working on Flo and Dougal
