He's so lovely. He does look grumpy in some of them I'll never forget the vet story when they said he wasn't deaf just grumpy

He is gentle natured and love's a kiss and a cuddle but touch anything inside his indoor hutch and he will growl at you, we have a couple of buns that seem to love their hutches and protect their stuff with a warning to you
Oh and he doesn't like the vet

We had gone over to Poulton, near Blackpool to visit my Sister on the 4th February 2011 and my Niece's Daughter happened to be there and she works at a dog rescue and she was telling me about a little rabbit that had been brought in as the girl was moving in with her Mother and her Mother said she could not take her rabbit the girl was a friend of the owner of the rescue and so the owner said she would take the bunny and try to rehome it for her.
My Niece's Daughter Jamie was concerned about the bunnies welfare as they had to put it in one of the empty stables and there was no door on the top of the stable and so it was not ideal to house a rabbit in , there was also rats about she said and foxes. Well I know Foxes are abundant in that area as we use to live near and I kept my horse at the stables round the corner from the rescue many years ago.
Mike said he would go with Jamie and have a look at the bunny and he came back with him
He said it was cold and damp in the stable and a fox could easily jump the door and take the bunny and he said he looked a bit sad and lonely and so decided to give him a home with us.
My Sister had an old pet carrier that she had for one of her dog's when it was a puppy and so she gave me that although Mike does have a foldable pet carrier in the back of his car at all times just in case
This is Barry the Bun arriving home with us after his 2 hour journey from good old Lancashire

It is surprising Carla how many bunnies we have that we think were meant to be here, we lost Pud, Faith came along. We always say it was fate
My Niece's Daughter isn't usually there when we visit my Sister but she had asked her boss at the dog rescue if she could have an hour off to see her Aunt and Uncle as she doesn't see us very often , else we wouldn't have known about Barry.

What lovely photos. I noticed the one with his ears forward, our Snuffie does that when he is grumpy and cross.
