Our Bridge Buns 'Bodkin & Hetty'. ( Picture Heavy)

Bodkin and Hetty were both from unwanted litters and Mike and I had chosen Bodkin a Martin Sable boy ( just like our Katie now) and asked the owner of the rescue if she could find him a companion while we were away in Dublin for a couple of days. On our return to the rescue after coming back from Ireland we walked in to see Bodkin with his new lady...Hetty or as we called her Little Hetty as she was a petite black bunny who would dance across the lawn.
Hetty took ill and died of Toxic shock on the Vet's examining table in March 2005.
Although we tried to bond Bodkin with other bunnies he just only ever had eyes for Hetty and sadly we had to have him pts in December 2006 with Osteomyelitis in his jaw after a long battle to get him right.
Bodkin was not unlike Pud for being a clown and such a laid back bunny but then Martin Sables are.
