Oscar has gone to the bridge....
We found him when we got up this morning... I had checked on him only 2 hours before and he looked ok.
I am in bits and Violet doesn't know what to make of it. I left my little man in with her so she could say goodbye but I'm not convinced she understands...

Re: Oscar has gone to the bridge....
Oscar was one of the friendliest buns I have ever met, I know when Tracey originally took him on as a foster she wasnt sure if he was going to stay - but it was obvious he was! I dont think ANYONE could have parted with that little guy, he was just so friendly, and when he used to come and stay I would sit in the conservatory with him and he would run round me trying to find treats, and he would hide behind a box and if I rustled it he would run away but do a little halfhearted binky! He was just so funny.
I feel really sad today, the last time I saw Oscar I bonded him to Violet, and this wasnt how I saw it panning out
sending a little nose rub to Violet.

Re: Oscar has gone to the bridge....
Tracy,
I'm so saddened to hear of your loss. It
was wise to leave him in with Violet for
a bit. They do understand but not perhaps
in the way we do.
Binky free Oscar!

What fabulous photographs Sarah Jane. I am sure that Tracy will treasure these once she has got over the shock of his sudden passing.
I am so sorry about his going to the bridge and hope that you and Violet will be happy again soon. xxx He was a lovely little chap.

Re: Oscar has gone to the bridge....
Thank you so much to everyone for all of your kind words and good wishes. Oscar was the most special bun I have ever been lucky enough to spend my life with. He was gentle, affectionate, loyal and a real little character. I can't believe he's gone.
We only had him in our lives for 18 months but I will remember him forever. As Sarah Jane said, we originally rescued him on the basis of fostering him but he soon wriggled his way straight into my heart and stayed there.
I miss my little man terribly already and seeing the pictures that SJ has posted has made me cry again but its so lovely to see him when he was happy and healthy.
Thank you again to everyone both for your kind words and also your support during the times that Oscar has been poorly over the last few months.
