bit worried about the rex trio
I'm starting to become concerned about about the long term relationship between my rex trio. Poor Boo is being relentlessly humped by the sisters, I feel really sorry for him. He used to grunt at them and really tell them off, but now he seems a bit down trodden and just tries to run away.
Easter and Hermione are humping each other aswell as Boo and are getting really cross with each other I haven't seen any fighting, but I don't watch them 24 hours a day so I don't know what they are like overnight.
I look at Vince and his girls, and they live in harmony, so peaceful and calm, but the rex trio seem agitated. Easter is being spayed on wednesday but I guess it will take a few months for her hormones to calm down. I'm saving for Hermione to be spayed so she will have to wait several more weeks.
I'm just starting to question the viability of this trio working out in the long run. Boo isn't the trouble maker, but I don't know who is causing the most problems out of the sisters, Easter is my favourite. I'm going to monitor the situation but ifI see things get any worse I will have to remove one of the girls but what i do with them then I don't know. The option of setting up a pair isn't possible as I don't have room in the garden and DH doesn't want a house bun (although the rex girls aren't chewers which is positive).
Oh, I don't know. Rust kinda rambling really as DH doesn't really understand why this is bothering so much

Re: bit worried about the rex trio
i think getting them done will help loads,i think i said before when i got mine done, the humping stopped right away, they have just started again, every now and then but thats becouse i think its that time of year,so your poor girls are going through twice the torment (if that makes sence,it does in my head ) hopefully gettin one done will help

Re: bit worried about the rex trio
Aww, poor Boo!
The dynamics of the group should completely change once they are done.
It's a shame your vet can't do them both at the same time and let you pay up the second one.
I have absolutely no firsthand experience, but from what I understand, I agree with this ^fall3n-ang3l wrote:i think getting them done will help loads,i think i said before when i got mine done, the humping stopped right away, they have just started again, every now and then but thats becouse i think its that time of year,so your poor girls are going through twice the torment (if that makes sence,it does in my head ) hopefully gettin one done will help

As the other's have said getting them done should make a big difference and the fact that Spring is on it's way doesn't help

The girls hormones are a RAGING! They will quiet down. Remember when you went thru puberty? If you were like me...well...I got payback with my kiddos!
It will work out!

Re: bit worried about the rex trio
Spring is in the air and the girlies hormones will be up and running, hence the humping.
Hollie and Rosie were not spayed when they were first bonded in Herbie. Spring and hormones got to them too before they were spayed. Both girls followed Herbie around constantly desperate for some lurve action. Rosie was brazen enough to even back up to Herbie with her botton in the air
I don't know what Herbie made of it all! Did he know what they wanted but was unable to oblige. Or was it all a complete mystery to him
I am sure things will settle down when your girls are spayed.
