How is Grace getting on with the arthri aid? I think you put her on it around the same time as I started Bruce on a glucosamine supplement. I have given Bruce the supplement most days and I have to say on the days where I have forgotten he has seemed much slower and stiffer. I just wondered if you are seeing as good an effect in Grace?

I use a quarter of a vegetarian glucosimine for Lil (for humans) and she is like a spring chicken compared to the younger Ron.
She's been on them for almost 2 years.
She is 8 and runs all over the place.

Well our vet said to try giving Grace Metacam twice a day and see how she goes on that first before we try arthri-aid and she seem's to have improved slightly but I think I'd like to put her on arthri-aid as well as I can't see it doing her any harm.

I like the sound of the vegetarian glucosmine, Grace was 7 in February and I have noticed she doesn't run about as much as she did ,so I may try her on the vegetarian glucosmine as there seem's to be more people favouring glucosmine than arthri aid.

I asked Molly Vargas on the Supreme 'ask the vet' about what I should be giving and she said just to go with a product for cats. Unless someone tells me different I think I will stick with the arthriaid as Bruce doesn't seem to mind taking it which is a real bonus seeing he has it daily.

Where do you get your arthriaid from Cheryl as I notice they sell it on a few vet websites, I might try her on that first and see how she goes.

I bought it from vetuk via amazon - I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to go and find my credit card! Laughing It was the same price as on their site though. Molly said to follow the cat dosing. The instructions say give 2.5ml daily for animals up to 5kg. Bruce being only 1.7kg I decided to reduce that to 1ml.
