Bunnies going out in the garden on wet grass.
Do you put your bunnies out in the garden on a nice day even if your grass is soaked with rain?
Today it's been beautiful here but our lawn is really wet and so we don't put the bunnies out for fear of tummy upsets.
I feel a bit guilty

Is there actually evidence to suggest wet grass is bad for them? I've always thought it a bit of a myth, and don't see how it is different to offering wet vegetables to rabbits to up their water intake?

Mine would go mental if I didn't open that hutch door in the morning - whatever the conditions. They bing around and if it is wet, there are lots of feet flicks. As long as they have somewhere dry to shelter and a bit off the ground, they are fine.
The only weather mine hate is windy weather and I think that is because it affects their hearing and they get started by things moving in the wind.

Ive been letting Charlie and Annie out whatever the weather, they choose if they want to go out or not and unless its actually raining they do and happily chomp away, not had any tum probs at all.

My thoughts precisely.
Mine go out if the ground is damp, but if the soil is completely sodden I won't let them because it will be a mud bath.
