I shall save that in my favourites as I have said all along to people with rabbits how important water is to a bunny
Thank You Cheryl

That was really interesting. Thanks Cheryl
What sort of bowl does everyone use? Dougal drinks a lot, and when I had a bowl in there the other day to clean her bum she started drinking from it. But Dougal tipped it straight over. I am really tempted to go over to a bowl, but I know what my two will do with one

Mine have both. But there bowl is a large ceramic one - a bit heavy and slippery to be thrown.

I have been looking through the journal website and have found this interesting article on attitudes to buying rabbits.

I will post more that I find interesting as I come across them.

I only ever use bowls and cant imagine using a bottle. A bottle seems unnatural to me.

I use a large ceramic dog bowl and they've.never tipped it over yet despite.dolly trying her hardest. They also have a water bottle for the run. I used to worry they would forget how to use it, but they don't

What really got me thinking about it was when I had the bowl of water in the play pen to do Florences bum clean, she went straight over to it to drink from it. As far as I know she has never seen a bowl of water, yet just knew what to do, which made me think maybe she'd prefer it.
The trouble is my two have both tipped over bowls of water Florence after she was spayed and Dougal the bowl mentioned above. I'd feel so guilty if they split their water during the day and had no drink

The thing is with bunny bottles and people don't always realise this but if you have a dental bunny they can't always use the drinking tube on a bottle as it can be painful to them and so if you just have a bottle and your bunny isn't drinking you are not going to know until the poor bunny is ill .
It's always wise to have a bottle and a dish
