Dave update
Well guys, I am very sorry to report (but actually quite chuffed), that Dave is a bit of a boring bun He isn't the smartest bunny on the block, but is such a sweetie. Sasha is the brains of this outfit however and fairly keeps Dave in his place.
It is interesting to see how different they are to my previous pair. Dave and Sasha are much more like wild buns and they are a lot more skittish than the other two were. They eat hay like it is going out of fashion. I have never gone through so much which is just fabulous. Every morning their hutch is completely strewn with great big golden poos. They half-fill their litter tray every night and they carry on pooing everywhere else. Interestingly, they don't pee in their beds like all my other buns have done, so I just need to clear out the papers in the day bit of the hutch.
Sasha has decided to do a bit of DIY and has found that the burrow needs a bit of renovation. Her bum is to be found sticking out of the burrow whilst flicking piles of soil out. so much work for a small bunny! She has also started to excavate a second burrow, but seems to have lost interest in this. But it is Spring and it saves me having to have their claws clipped
They absolutely adore Excel pellets and I practically get mugged anytime I go near them. In the morning I have to be careful not to stand on them as they are under my feet all the time. I can't give them their pellets until I clear out all the overnight poo, so they get really impatient but just have to wait.
I am so pleased I took them as it is lovely to see them so happy and know that Sasha will never have another litter and can live out her life with company and lots of digging.

Re: Dave update
I'm chuffed they have settled in so well, and that you are obviously enjoying them so much
Do you feel smug that when Dave passed on his Norty genes to his offspring, he didn't actually keep any for himself?
Oh, and you do know we need more piccies, don't you?

Urghhh I knew you would say that! I will try to get some, but I am rubbish at taking them and then getting all the electrical mystical components to speak to each other!

Aww... It's so lovely to hear how they are getting on! I'm so pleased they ended up with you Nickie! I had to laugh when you said he's not very bright
It's also good to know that they can't have any more offspring. Its scary to think how many Molly's might be out there already

Oh its so lovely to hear that they are having such a lovely time and that they have settled in so beautifully.
Wouldnt you just love to get a camera down that burrow to take a peek......Id love to know if she was going for a three or four bedroom place and whether or not she is going for an en-suite.

Re: Dave update
What a lovely update I am so happy that they are enjoying life with you and that they are giving so much pleasure.
Now where are these photos? They are such a beautiful pair you are not allowed to keep them to yourself!
(Sez she who has no idea how to get photos from a camera to a PC and curses photobucket!)
