Summer is going to the vet

She has sores all over her back i thought it was a bad molt, she was really scruffy looking, but i didnt honestly think much of it, i thought i would groom her today because i was off all day and able to dedicate loads of time, and i have found scabs .

I feel really bad i didnt do something sooner, but she seriously just looked moult scruffy .

Vet at 5:30

Try not to feel guilty, we all miss things, especially at this time of year when, as you say, some of our little ones can look a bit on the scruffy side.

Summer is ok her wounds are actually healing on their own, and are a few days old, so it ties in with me thinking she was in moult!

We discussed her remaining eye, which is useless but until it causes an issue were not removing it .

Yes they are humping bites Maysie , Willow has been naughty as spring is in the air. She is getting spayed a week on Friday and will go in a cage in the pen until then . I should have known better than to bond an unspayed female . However, they do get on as a group so i know rebonding wont be hard

So glad it's nothing worse and glad they are not taking her remaining eye out as I think an Op like that would be very stressful for her.

I'm glad sweet little Summer is OK. She is precious. So very precious.

Summer is doing fine, thank you for all the well wishes, she is neither up nor down with it, she is just "Summer". She potters about in her own wee world
