advice needed asap
My mate sam has 2 female bun who has lived together for months, suddenly one of them has become aggressive and started pulling out her own fur and wont let sam pick her up. Ive asked if she is pregnant and she said there is no possible way as they are both girls.
I know our domino had a phantom pregnancy 2 weeks ago but she wasnt aggressive
Anyone got any ideas or advice?

Re: advice needed asap
Firstly is she 100% positive the rabbits are both female?
If so it could well be a phantom pregnancy. Is she actually nesting with the fur? Some does do become aggressive in a protective territorial manner during the spring, especially if they believe they will soon have young to protect. It's not abnormal but obviously not a nice experience for the owner or the rabbit.
As I suspect you already know the answer would be to have both females neutered, especially as this type of aggression could also end up being directed towards the other doe and spark a fight.

Ive never seen them but she says they are both female, I told her to seperate them but she says its attacking her when she puts her hand in when they have been no bother before x
Re: advice needed asap
They should both be spayed. Have they got enough space??
Are either of the buns hurt?
