It's our carpet, so we both make the mess on it. Then Humum comes and tidies up and we start again 
She got us a new bit at the weekend, as she wanted to put us together on something that smelled neutral, plus Gizmo had shredded some of the old one. It's a 7' x 3' offcut and she paid just under a fiver for it. So she doesn't mind too much if we make a mess, as we are both good at widdling in our tray.
