Molly's nortyness reaches new levels u/d again!!!!

Came home from work, straight up the stairs to check on Molly and Junior. Junior is in his litter tray, I looked in the direction of Molly's - it sometimes takes your eyes a minute to find her because she's a black bunny sitting in a black litter tray - yep, she's not there!!!

Shouts down the stairs to OH and asks him if he has her. "No" is the reply. Uh oh. Back into the room I go! And with that, she sheepishly comes out from under the bed I tried to grab her but she runs away. Eventually OH and I manage to catch her.

I have no clue how she got out I can only imagine she jumped but it's a safe bet that she's been out all day. The hay is still in her litter tray and there isn't one poop in the pen.

Hats off to her though, as soon as I got a hold of her, she started wriggling so I put her in the pen and she ran straight to the litter tray, dying for a pee. Looks like she's held it in all day. Bless her. She had a drink of water after and is now filling her face with hay.

What a monkey!!!! It's far easier to jump in than out because she can jump on to the bed and then into the pen. Not sure why she didn't!!

We are lucky that she didn't jump into Junior's half!!! She's probably been winding him up all day

How long would you guys keep them separated after him being neutered? My vet said three weeks, which would have been last Friday, but I've still got them separated because I wasn't convinced!!

If it is 4 weeks tomorrow since Junior's neuter, personally I'd be fairly happy about them being back together. It's worth keeping an eye out for teenage hormones from her though, it might be her humping him rather than the other way around...

Molly can be litter trained when she feels like it then

She might be less bored when she's back in with Junior too, and less likely to do a bunk, I know Dougal cured a lot of Florences' destructiveness.

I hope she behaves tonight!

I worded that badly It was 4 weeks today

You've no idea how happy you've just made me. This separation has been very tiring

I'm going to let them out to play together tonight and leave the pen divide up until I can be sure they're still friends

i thought it was up to six weeks the male can still be fertile?

Before I posted, I was going to have a google and see what I could find and I did anyway (Not that I didn't believe you Sparky, I did ) and the RWAF leaflet does indeed say 4 weeks

Are they playing nicely together now?

Kind of. It's weird, they ignore each other one minute and the next they're in the same litter tray eating hay

She usually disguises the angel in her very well

That sounds familiar! Jeeves asks for a groom but Tigger completely ignores him. Sometimes me and OH will catch her grooming him but when she spies us she suddenly stops and gives shifty eyes

Charlie does this too - he will only Groom Annie when he thinks we are not looking!

Flo wouldn't groom Bruce for about 2 years - it was all one way traffic . Now she does it quite regularly but more like she is trying to improve him than out of love.

Poor wee girlie, I bet she HATED being locked on the outside!

Dougal refuses to groom Florence, he ignores her Florence however grooms everyone and everything!! She's easy!!!

I hope Molly and Junior are enjoying being out together now

I had the chill n chew mat tie wrapped to the side of the pen, she was climbing up it and launching herself over the pen!!

She is fearless!!!

When Jack was teeny, he used to climb up his water-bottle holder to escape - it took the Hu-parents ages to figure out how he was getting out.
