Yes it is now nearly 3am and I have been woken by Deeva making as much noise as is bunnyily possible! We have had thumping feet, chucking toys about and now she is really biting at the bars of her cage.Ive come back to bed having settled her down once, covered her cage over with the fleece and left radio on sleep timer to go off shortly.I gave her some more hay to get interested in.This is the 3rd or 4th time she has done this at this time of night.I worry she is getting stressed so settle her but I cant do that every night.I really could use some uninterupted sleep as have a marathon on Sunday.Im now worried about how she will be when I am away. Have any of you been through this and please what did you do?

Teenage Bunny 101: Do not go to her. You can peek to see if she is OK but don't go in. Don't let her see you! It will become habit. REMEMBER: YOU ARE HER FAVORITE PLAYTHING!! She will want your attn. You will learn to sleep through it and just like if is is a child, your subconscious will know the difference between play and panic.

I'd be the same! I'd worry that she is stressing herself out, but what Holly said makes sense. Young dogs do this too, they cry and cry all night. If you go and calm them down then it becomes habit and they do it more, you leave them and then eventually it clicks in their head and they do stop. It could well be the same for buns!

Is the cage completely covered with the fleece, or can she still see out? I wonder if that is what is bothering her....

I had exactly this problem with Daisy - at first I was worried about him, but he learned more quickly than I did that this was a good way for him to get some attention and a treat in the middle of the night.

The only thing that worked was completely ignoring him - he got bored of it within a couple of days when he realised I wasnt going to come.

It is the same with human babies. I can remember my mother saying that babies have a certain cry for certain needs. Apparently you get to know the "I want attention" cry and not always give in to baby. Bless him, fancies a bit of a midnight feast LOL"!!

Hugs
