2 week old babies in a pet shop

says it all really. I went in for a pet carrier and came out crying

they were unbelievably small, you could fit 2 of them in one hand (not that I'd recommend it). I asked where the mother was, the woman just shrugged. That place breaks my heart

Poor babies, will they be feeding them or just hoping for the best?

they are being fed on some nameless pellet which i didnt buy for mine (it was only a stopgap unitl i could get hold of SS anyway) as they have no nutritional breakdown on them. They looked far too young to be eating solids anyway!

poor tiny things were huddled together and were so excited when i stuck my fingers through their (wire bottomed ) cage to give them noseyrubs. 5 of them. and 2 older ones next door. who have been there a week. I must stop going in there and just make my own woodshavings as it has got me in tears again just thinking about those POOR rabbits
