Brush on a stick technique
Dudley will not let us handle him he will not let our hands go anywhere near him so we can't stroke or cuddle him so I am now trying the brush on a stick technique where you try and gently stroke them with a grooming brush attached to a long handle so that they eventually get use to being touched or stroked. At the moment I'm just letting him sniff and look at the brush I have managed to gently touch his nose but touch his back and he is away. This is going to take a long time I think but I am determined to make him feel comfortable with hands.
I talk to him all the time and tell him he's a good boy while slowly moving the brush towards his back to gently brush him.

Re: Brush on a stick technique
You should have great success with that technique!
You and Mike are angels on Earth taking care of all of the special bunnies. I'm always amazed at all you accomplish even with the difficult ones!

Oh bless that beautiful little man!
I can't tell you how happy I am that he has gone to you. We thought he may end up as one of our long-termers so it really makes us happy to see he's gone to a good place

I dread to think what happened to him to make him this way, just awful.
he is such a gorgeous little chap.
Im glad he is with Tuckerbunnies now where all his little bunny dreams can come true.

Me too
He is in the best hands possible now and I have absolutely every faith in you Maysie and Mike. Hopefully he will have you wrapped round his little paw in no time!

I've seen them do this with animals on tv and it's such a good idea! I'm sure he will come round eventually
