booking buns in for jags Empty booking buns in for jags

I need to book in the wee buns for there 6 month jag over next few days, I am trying to deside if its worth while taking out the value pet on the buns like I have with the dogs, it saves alot more with dogs covers all flea worming, jags, 2 check ups a year counted it out was saving over £75 each on all these, its about £10 a month for 1st dog then £8 for next. The buns are same price but only do jags and 2 check ups as they dont do flea treatments etc. Worked out yearly cost for the 4 buns £40 for the 2 jags once year if pay at once as you get a discount other wise its about £55, then the 6 month one i dont know how much that is. If there is not much else offered why is it still the same price as dogs makes no sence to me. For the 4 buns it works out £3 a week in a jar, (just for the year set not sure about the others probs an extra £25 - 30 in midd year. What do you think.

We're paying £17 a bun for the new vaccine and that's only once a year. I know we are getting it very cheaply, but most places seem to be doing it for anything from £20 - £35. Are yours due VHD and Myxi or just the Myxi booster? If just the Myxi, I'd get that done now then go on to the combi vaccine in 6 months.

You can always take them in for a 6-month health check too, if you decide to. Our vet runs free health clinics every few months, ideal for us Very Happy

The wee 1s are actually due the 6 month one, charlie was late getting his, I paid for his both sets in oner so get it £15 cheaper then forgot to book in the second jag lol, so they done it few weeks ago as system still showed it as paid but not completed I had a feeling I forgot to go back. The new addition will need the full lot.

Is the combi one a single jag to cover both, might see if any of the otehr local vets are doing that for wee 1. Save money where we can so can spoil them with toys lol.

Yep, it's a single jab to protect against VHD and Myxi and only needs doing once a year with no 6-monthly booster Thumbs Up

Nobivac Myxo-RHD vaccine.

But if you refer to it as the 'combined vaccine' and your vet doesn't seem to know what you mean, go elsewhere anyway...
