Layla's moult

Layla can't figure out why the hu-parents snigger whenever they see her.

She's been going through a really heavy and extremely scruffy moult, with big tufts and darts of fur coming out. The one time they managed to pin her down and brush her, they both ended up ginger from head to toe

She's about halfway through her moult now. The front half. Down to about the waist she is all slick and smooth and tidy

But her rear half looks exactly like it is wearing a big pair of baggy trousers

goodness me Layla! You have been keeping a much smaller bun under all that fur!

Jeeves looked like that all over for a good month. He wasn't that bad last year! I blame the weather.

At least she will have a warm bum

I don't ever remember Thumper's coming out like that, she just had tufts everywhere
