I'll be honest, I'm terrified at the thought pale They are going to go crazy and I really don't want to hurt them (or get myself and/or OH mauled to death myself!)

Thumper was so gooood! She used to have a little wriggle and that was it.

How should I tackle it with these two psychos/monsters?? I'm not sure fenugreek crunchies will cut the mustard here....

Take a firm hold and make sure they know you mean it! If in doubt do a bunny burrito. I have always found with Flo that if you want to do anything to her front end then you need to cover the back end and vice versa. It is probably easiest as a 2 person job.

God - no good asking me, I find the whole thing traumatic....Daisy wiggles and kicks, and then behaves like I am trying to saw his leg off with a rusty knife....I normally end up a quivering wreck in the corner and he goes on hunger strike.......sorry

I have been working hard! My last uni assignments have gone in but I still have to be in placement until the end of august. And I have been doing extra bank work. In short I have been knackered.

Aw Katie, Daisy has you wrapped around his little finger!

I do a bunny burrito, and get my dad to hold Bruce while I deal with the nails. Bruce is so big, you need someone strong to hold him.

I also have to rewrap the burrito inbetween doing the front nails and the back nails, otherwise he manages to get out.

With Josephine, who doesn't mind too much, I just wait until she's sleeping and sneak up on her and take a paw out to start trimming the nails. Sometimes she protests, but not very much.

Jay did an excellent HH Forum Channel video on clipping nails and the
bunny burrito starring STEWIE! Love I highly recommend it!

I must be very very lucky with my 6, they all just sit on my lap facing outwards and let me get on with it!
