Faline has gone U/D came back...phew

She has left, I cannot find her anywhere. My neighbour isn't in so I can't get in their garden, but I have looked out the bedroom window and I cannot see her.

The flippin' badgers dug a hole under my perimeter fence than I put around the garden. It has been fine for weeks, I check the perimeter on a regular basis, but I didn't notice the new hole that has been dug under my fence. I know she hasn't dug it because they were only out for 10 mins and I saw her plenty of times during that time (i was cleaning them out so was in the garden with them).

It has been half an hour and no sign. She will not come back to me like the others. If it was the others, they would return to me but Faline won't come near me or have anything to do with me.

I am hoping she will return and not venture into the woods as she may not find her way back. DH is going to be so cross with me, he doesn't think I should let them out at all, but they do love their binky time on the lawn with me and the kids. I can feel a panic welling up inside me now, I wish I hadn't let them out now.

Please come back Faline.

Elaine, that is awful for you. Fingers crossed she returns. Can you get the others away and then rattle the food bag and put out lots of her favourite things.

Panic over Next door came home so Rich and I went and looked around their garden, they have a gate that opens into the woods so I looked in the woods and Rich went back into our garden to check again.

We must have flushed her out of nextdoors garden as Rich saw some movemnet by the playhouse and ran for her and she shot out and ran into the run which I had propped open for her (and sealed off from the avairy so the other two couldn't get out).

Thank goodness she came back. I tried rattling the food tub but she knows it's me holding it, so it wouldn't work like it would for the others.

I'm not letting any of them out again. That was too close. Rich said that was my warning and I think he is right. I will have to save up and buy another trixie run so I can create a moveable run that they can share for their grass time.

So glad she came back, silly bunny.

I'm so pleased to see the update - my heart was in my mouth when I read the thread title then the first post

Our experience with Poirot, who had been wandering the estate for weeks but coming home for tea is thankfully that if they can get back they will come back.

That doesn't help in the meantime though.

I think the badgers should go on the Norty step

I was nearly having a heart attack, I thought she had gone to the woods which is full of foxes and dogs. Thank goodness she came back. I really thought after half an hour that I'd lost her forever

I am so glad she is back love, we have have all experienced that awful feeling you get when something like this happens, I am so glad she is home and safe, naughty girl.
