Found an interesting idea for a bunny home
My husband and I are major Dr Who fans. I found this kitty TARDIS and I want one modified for a bunny(ies).
Now Hubby doesn't have very good wood working skills, but youngest son does. I wonder what all this would
take for an indoor Bunny TARDIS? It would have to be modified of course, but would that hammock thing work
for bunnies or would it be a recipe for disaster? Thumper would eat the carpet, so that would have to go too.
What do y'all think? I could see that in the living room!

It's not very helpful, but I know that if it was less fluffy my chinchillas would feel right at home in there! Anyway, hopefully someone can give you the answer you were after now. *Slaps wrist*

You jest, and yet it does look bigger inside in true tardis style.

I don't think it would be suitable as a stand alone housing, it would need something else , I would be concerened about the different levels, a lot of twisting and turning involved to access them. Soemthing that mimicked a burrow with tunnels would be a fab idea. Sorry to be a spoil sport, just wanted to give my honest opinion Rats and ferrets would love it though

You make some good points. I guess there could be two levels and an enclosed ramp
perhaps of the clear tubing that Sparky's hu-dad used, then tunnels around it and then
behind the sofa. They didn't give any measurements. I really like Sparky's clear tunnels.
Thumper is exclusively an indoor bunny and he needs stimulation.

You could use c&c grids to enclose the shelves and ramps are easily constructed, but the only use I can see for the hammock is to store all the bunny toys in!

Thumper is free-range, so perhaps you should just decorate the outside of your whole house to look like the Tardis
Seriously though - if you were having one built, you could have it made whatever size and layout you liked. You could have a warren of tunnels built in, then be able to open one whole side, perhaps, to clean it out....
